The chin and neck are a critical (and often overlooked) aspect of facial balance. The nose, forehead and chin all work together to achieve balance in the aesthetics of the face. A small chin can create the perception of a large nose and thus, improving the chin can often improve the appearance of the nose.
In fact, the primary goal of a chin implant is to provide more balance to the face and neck.
A chin implant involves creating a small incision and inserting a patient specific contoured implant. The procedure takes less than an hour.
